How to break your fat loss plateau in 3 simple steps

Hey there, fitness fam! Feeling stuck with your fat loss? Don’t worry, I’ve got the inside scoop on how to bust through that plateau and keep crushing your goals

So, first things first: why do you plateau? It’s not just bad luck, my friends. One major reason is that your metabolism slows down as you lose weight. As your body gets smaller, it burns fewer calories, and if you keep eating the same amount of food, you’re not going to keep losing weight. Plus, if you’ve been cutting calories for a while, your body will start conserving energy and burning fewer calories overall. Sneaky, right?

But fear not! Here are my top 3 tips for smashing through that plateau and reaching your weight loss goals:

Use the 20% Deficit Rule. This means cutting your calories by 20% to keep losing weight, but not so much that you’re starving all the time. You’ve gotta find that sweet spot, people!

Have a Re-feed Day. This means bumping up your calories back to maintenance or even a bit above once a week or so. It might sound counterintuitive, but it can help boost your metabolism and keep you from feeling deprived.

Take a Long-Term Break. Every 12 weeks or so, give yourself a break and go back to your maintenance calories for a week. Don’t go crazy and eat a bunch of junk food, but don’t be afraid to give yourself a little more wiggle room.

And there you have it, folks! These tips will keep you from hitting that wall and help you keep losing weight week after week. Don’t give up – you’ve got this!
